"SAY NO TO PLASTIC" WORKSHOP

Workshop for the beginner who is terrified about using a sewing machine.

This is a beginners workshop, howerver you should know how to operate a sewing machine.

• learn how to make a simple pattern for your bag,
• understand what is grain line, seam allowance,
• learn the basic and more advanced functions of a sewing machine,
• material included (choose from a selection of  fabrics from our shop),
• take home a finished product.

If you have just purchased your sewing machine and has no clue how to use it you can sign up for sewing machine for terrified people.

This is a beginners workshop, you should know how to operate a sewing machine , but doesn't have confidence to do a bigger project if you are confident on how to operate a sewing machine you can sign up for one of our more advanced courses: 1950's apron or patchwork workshop.

What you will need for your course:

• basic sewing kit: long pins, tape measure, fabric shears, snip scissors, seam ripper, taylor's chalk, note book, pen/pencil.
• special 20% discount on materials on the day of your course.
